About Suzi, Coali and Now Roxy!!!!!
|

Some people think I am overly in love with my
dog, and maybe I am, but I love Coali!!! So,
when I started sharing my yoga practice with
him, it seemed so natural and we fit perfectly
together.
Coali is a natural dogi, from the heart, and loves
doing Doga! And we want to share it with
everyone. Because we know that others are
natural dogis too!
Coali and I have been teaching Doga for almost 6
years, as long as he has been alive. And we
teach it because we live it. Doga is a part of life,
and we love it!
Doga has been in NYC for the last 5 years, and
now is in Jacksonville Beach, FL, where Coali
and Suzi have moved to. The next class will be
in Atlantic Beach. Send an email if you are
interested in more info.
Bio:
The life of Suzi Teitelman has been one of going
for her dreams, and flowing with the gifts that
have been presented to her.
Coming from a musical home, Suzi found many
talents in the arts. Music and drama were her
first loves, and propelled her forward to work in
the theater in New York City, nationwide, and
abroad.
Though the musical arts were what brought her
to NYC originally, it was her love of yoga that
soon took the forefront.
Coming form a family of yogis, (her
Grandmother a yogi into her 80's) Suzi has been
exposed to yoga since childhood. And her
dedication to the practice of yoga, blossomed
after studying with Dana Flynn, and becoming
certified at The Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in
2001. Though her dreams of Broadway never
diminished, the gift of teaching yoga soon took
over and her new career in yoga began.
Not long after Suzi began to teach full time, she
took over the position as Director of Yoga for
Crunch Fitness in NYC. During her time as
director (2002-2006), Suzi created many
innovative classes, such as the now world
famous Doga "Yoga for Dogs!" She also was the
creator of Yoga Revolution "Yoga with a 6lb
Smartbell," and many other alternative
expressions of yoga.
After 11 years in NY, 5 teaching yoga, it was time
for Suzi and her dog Coali to head back to her
home town of Jacksonville, FL, and bring to the
South her new talents of teaching yoga.
Since coming back to Jacksonville 2 years ago,
Suzi has become the Group Fitness Coordinator
for The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, where she
also teaches tons of yoga, Smart Yoga (Yoga
with Smartbells see www;thinkfit.com), Doga
and Beach Yoga!
She can also be found teaching at Ocean Yoga, a
homey studio that has truly welcomed her
home.
Suzi and Coali are having the time of their lives
living new dreams in Jacksonville and the
Beaches area! They have even moved into a
condo on the beach! Waking up to the sunrise
everyday is a dream come true! If you believe it
you can live it...and that is Suzi's philosophy on
life!
